The West Geauga Middle School annual magazine sale raised $26,000 to help support middle school activities. As one of the prizes, 45 students received a limousine ride, courtesy of Sotak Auto Livery, Inc. in Parma, to McDonald's restaurant in Chester Township. Preparing for the drive are (l to r) seventh-graders Miranda Young, Rachel Herbst, Lilly Makee, Steve Karkoska, Anthony Sapanaro, Max Kucera and Kyle Corbo along with driver Mike Costanzo.

Parent-teacher conferences

On Nov. 3, voters in the West Geauga School District will have the opportunity to renew a 3.53-mill, five-year operating levy. The levy (Issue 27) provides operating funds to maintain the district's quality educational programs. If the renewal levy passes, there will be no increase in property taxes. Please vote.
