American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors may give every 56 days and must bring some form of photo identification and a list of all current medications.

KSU Geauga hosts community health fair
The community nursing students at Kent State Geauga are hosting their annual community health fair Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kent State University Geauga Campus, 14111 Claridon-Troy Road in Burton. The event is open to the public.
Learn about immunizations, exercise and nutrition. There will be healthy snacks and health screenings such as blood pressure checks and body mass index. In addition, there will be many opportunities to learn how to better personal health, family health and the health of the community.
