Home energy assistance
Many Ohio residents are looking for ways to cut their energy bills. The Office of the Ohio Consumer's Counsel (OCC) offers a Home Weatherization Assistance Program for customers who are income eligible. It is a federally funded energy efficiency program available to low income residential consumers.
There is also a Home Energy Assistance Program to help qualified customers pay for winter heating costs.
For more information on these and many other programs, contact the OCC at 877-742-5622 or visit the Web site www.pickocc.org.
Election information available
For anyone who has questions concerning issues on the ballot in the upcoming election on Nov. 3, the "Ohio Issues Report" gives Ohio voters an opportunity to review the full text and ballot language of the state issues appearing on the ballot. The complete address to view the information is available on the township Web site hambdentownship.com. A copy is also available for viewing at the township hall office.
