Theater production enhanced with historic lobby display

The Geauga Theater's presentation of the depression-era play, Of Mice and Men, offers its audience a production both on and off the stage. The show features an educational lobby display to enhance the performance.

Director David Malinowski states that the exhibit highlights "important people, places and events from the Great Depression and the New Deal." He explains that the display will also include, "important historical events that have occurred on October 29th in various years." Additionally, the exhibit contains information regarding Of Mice and Men author John Steinbeck, and the play's setting, the Gabilan Mountians.

Last chance to catch this highly praised Geauga Theater drama is this weekend. The production runs weekends through Nov. 8. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 8 p.m.; there is also a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

The historic theater is located on Chardon Square at 106 Water St. For information or to purchase tickets, visit www.geaugatheater.org or call the box office at (440) 286-2255.
